The global headquarters of old-school Goa trance. This biennial "retro-futuristic" pilgrimage gathers on the shores of Montargil Lake in Portugal's Alentejo, where stages tuck under ancient pine and cork trees inside a nature reserve about 100km from Lisbon. Across a full week, ZNA pays dedicated homage to the roots of psychedelic trance culture, with legacy Goa and psychedelic acts alongside progressive and techno — a living archive of the scene's origins, sustained by one of the most devoted communities in trance.
