Held at the University of Exeter, April 15-17, 2026, the meeting crossed philosophy of mind, consciousness science, and the study of extraordinary experience, including psychedelic phenomenology, across disciplinary lines. The project takes its name from Aldous Huxley's phrase for consciousness beyond the brain's reducing valve.
