Trials, Studies and Experiments

Registered clinical trials that involve N,N-DMT and related compounds, indexed from public registries. Each registered record links to its registry entry so the primary source is one click away, and each one is typed registered_clinical_trial.

The same table also lists the community experiments, the 2025 pilot report, platform projects, media claims and rumours that make up the history of this observation. They are kept because they are part of the story, and they are typed and labelled so nobody mistakes them for clinical evidence. A record only carries clinical authority in /data.json when it is a registered clinical trial with a registry id.

Filter by status, type, indication, and sponsor. Machine readable records are included in the unified corpus at /data.json with record_type, relevance and registry_id on every row.

Record types used here

  • registered_clinical_trial: a trial with a public registry id, the only type that carries clinical authority.
  • registered_observational_study and academic_experiment: formal studies that are not interventional trials.
  • published_pilot_report: Goler's 2025 pilot study in IPI Letters.
  • community_experiment, citizen_science_project and reported_replication: work done outside institutions, recorded as such.
  • platform_project: things DMT Code itself runs, such as the registry launch and the null report programme.
  • media_claim and rumored_report: claims made in podcasts or forums that nobody has documented.
  • retreat_or_facilitated_session: sessions run by a facilitator, usually undisclosed.

How many records, and how many are clinical trials

Counted from the database when this page was generated, 2026-10-19. The trials table holds 266 published records. 254 of them are registered clinical trials with a public registry identifier, and only those carry authority_type Clinical in /data.json. The other 12 are typed community records: academic experiments, the published pilot report, community experiments, platform projects, media claims, rumoured reports and retreat sessions. The lists below show the most recently added records of each kind, not the whole table.
