How a record is made
- Observe. Notice a discrete visual form during an N,N-DMT experience.
- Draw or Respond. Reconstruct it on the canvas, or tell us whether one already recorded resembles what you saw.
- It joins the open record. Openly licensed CC-BY-4.0 and downloadable as data.
Recording first keeps your memory unshaped by the catalogue. A free account is needed to submit, an avatar stands in for your name, and your name is never shown.
You do not need to take anything to contribute. The Sober Baseline Protocol is the same rig and the same field sheet run sober, and sober records are the ones the registry needs most.
Nine steps through the record
- Understand. What this is, and what it is not.
- Story. How the observation began, dated and sourced.
- Evidence. What has been reported, and how much it carries.
- Theories. Proposed explanations, held as hypotheses.
- Science. What has actually been measured, and by whom.
- Participate. Events, experiments and trials you can join.
- Prepare. Build the rig yourself, or buy a kit.
- Record. Describe what you saw before you browse.
- Decode. Compare your memory against other recollections.
Live counts
Counted from the database when this page was generated, 2026-10-19. A count that could not be fetched is omitted, never shown as zero. The same numbers are published under counts in /data.json.
- Published community symbol submissions: 79 (account backed, published immediately, curated examples excluded)
- Glyph memory records: 60 (legacy capture table, 22 of them with no account link from before accounts were required; that anonymous submission path is now closed and later rows are account backed. A separate table, never summed with the line above)
- Null reports: 0 (ran the observation and saw nothing structured, or nothing that matched)
- Sober baseline records: 0 (same apparatus, no substance)
- Recognition responses: 15 (readers saying a published form echoed their memory after seeing it here, not independent matches)
Of the published symbol submissions, 13 declare the 650 nm laser protocol as their method. The rest are accounts of a DMT experience that do not state a method, and they are not evidence about the laser specifically. Prior exposure to the catalogue is recorded on the anonymous glyph reports, 29 of which state the observer had not seen it before; the submission form only began asking on 26 August 2026, so for earlier records it is unknown rather than no. The full breakdown is published as corpus_composition in /data.json.
Prior exposure is unrecorded on all 79 published records. The submission form has required the question since 26 August 2026, and no record created since then has been published yet. Until that changes, nothing here can be weighed on whether its author had already seen the catalogue, which is the strongest ordinary explanation for any apparent agreement between records. Treat every total on this page accordingly.

Psilocybin study links EEG signature to reported mystical experiences. A double-blind, randomized clinical trial identified specific EEG brainwave patterns associated with self-reported mystical and altered experiences after psilocybin administration. This research suggests a potential neural correlate for th…
